Unlike thiz parking lot in the pic, come friday and saturday the package store will packed to capacity like they were giving out gfree government assistance!!! LOL! Wow seemz like everybodiez a social drinker. but it startz out with one glass, then u need a whole bottle to numb the pain of life. Man forget drink responsable, Live responsable.

Hey world, Milt-Fresh himself back on the check in. Well itz tuesday people, looking foward to my friday. tryna hit that Freddy movie, Nightmare on elm Street. Lookz like itz going to be a blood bath of a film. freddy moviez are uzually sick with it like that. Man the Elm Diner in west haven iz my favorite place to eat at right now. The best food around right now with a calming atmosphere, the owner iz a true gentleman. Dang itz wild how in house beef haz torn apart some of the most powerful unitz in rap. U got the Rocafella split up with jay and dame. Then the diplomatz split. I mean with all theze groupz and crewz how do u let petty differencez and money come in between u guyz. but what do u really expect when brotherz and sisterz, fatherz and motherz can't really get along? I guess people really loze sight of whatz important. Dang what happened to just standing firm on beleifz? But i guess thingz have to work out over time. I mean one day everybodiez at hot 97 spittin hard on every person that had beef, then 5 yearz later we're making diss recordz against the former boss. beanie segal didn't surprize me though. When beanz took shotz at Kanye, I knew it waz a matter of time befor he came at Jay. Anyway, got a few new peicez comin in soon, a jacket and two dress shirtz. Got to get my handz on a tan phat farm linen vest. Yo not for nothin, iz it me or are the older generation getting more stupid az the day goez. Stupidity iz still running ramped all over the country. Anyway i'm in two weddingz thiz summer, that meanz thiz FuZz iz in high demand SUCKAZ!!! Yo Whatz up with AT&T with that wild Motorola back flip commercial. Beauty fadez but fly iz forever. Whatz better than being fly? Flyrrrrrrr!!!! I think the clothez are ill and all but I hate the marketing tacticz uzed to draw the young hip black and trendy demographic. Pleaze don't insult my intelegence with a change of outfitz and witty catch frazez. Sad part iz that phone iz the best thing on at&t next to the I-phone ( i'm on the company). But i can't front though, the stylez were rather fresh. LOL! Anyway, thatz enough rampling for one night. I'm out guyz. stay safe, God Bless and remember to keep it FuZzY!
GBX haz been hitting hard since their febuary 2010 release date. They continue to bring the ruckus with theze kickz. In the last two yearz there haz been a huge boom of hybrid sneaker bootz and the designerz at GBX (harbor footwear to be exact) are trying to capitalize on thiz market. the dark green iz understated cool(got a lot of fitz that would work with them). The brown iz mean (remindz me of the japanese release of the mitch match Nike terminator kickz). But the head of the pack haz to be the black white. On somebody elze, a black and white polo will do the trick. On me??? lol! black vest, white dress shirt, tie and a fedora. A chill outfit that makez a statement!! D@NGEROUZ!!!!

With sumer inching closer and closer the brandz are getting even more crazy with the boat shoez. Last uear everybody waz heavy on color, now many are taking it a step further. Plaid madras fabric iz in heavy use with thiz type of casual shoe. Theze Mens Sperry Top-Sider Bahama Boat Shoez are sure to grab the attention of many beach goerz thiz summer.
Get Lifted by john Legend waz hiz debut album that introduced the world to hiz soulful tunez. And waz also the another album that stood az the sound track to my life around 2004-05. I remember back in 2004 going to a Kanye west concert at Toad's place( back when college dropout debuted, u'll never see kanye play toads ever again!!!! he'z to big of a name now lol!) and the whole G.o.o.d Music crew waz out. Don C (kanye'z well dressed road manager) waz dj'ing for him. He had hiz other artish GlC with him. But what really had me waz they had thiz light skinned Gentleman at a key board singing the old Gospel song "I'll fly away"(it waz part of a small skit on Kanye'z college dropout). Well I waz impressed with hiz plaing and vocal skillz.
Befor the night waz over I had bought a few mix tapez, one being John legend live at the knitting factory. Which made me a true beleaver in John Legend'z vocal stylingz. For he offerd a sound that waz missing from the R&B world at the time. I mean ur talking about around the time Rapperz started taking it upon themselvez to sing their own hookz. By the time John Legend'z album dropped, it kind of brought the R&B game back to where it waz. But what waz missing? If u asked what had R&B at a stand still for a hot min, u'll get many answerz. but many feel the soul waz missing. Where at one point people were into the Neo Soul movement that waz spawned, many weren't trying to touch the subjectz of true feeling becauze it just didn't sell anymore.
Most of the true soulful artistz could only draw off their own fan basez instead of having a universal appeal that shootz them to the top of the chartz. So john legend had a different approach. And playing the piano and being able to sing made him a force to be reckoned with. I mean on hiz album, the intro just captivated the soul "come on and go with me, therez something new for u to see, i'll take u high," "once u take one hit of thiz, it will feel so good, u'll never want to quit". Letting u know that thiz album iz suppozed to be something u'll never forget. that album spawned a lot of hitz such az "I used to love", the critically aclaimed "ordinary People" , and cloud nine.
But there were other songz that provoked emotion such az "She don't have to know". A tale of two loverz who caught up in world wind of Emotionz while trying to keep their relationship a secret from their signifigant others. IN OTHER WORDZ TWO PEOPLE WHO WERE DOWN RIGHT OUT CHEATING!!!! "When I meet u, I got my shadez on to cover up my eyez, hoping that no body see'z me passing by through my disguise". Man by the time the man said "let's sneak out of town for just a day or three, we'll go to DC and hold handz publicly all through the street, for they don't know u, and the don't know me" I waz done for. I mean me being a gentleman who waz actually caught up in the cheating lifestyle I could relate.( 04, every other night a different female. Avoiding phone callz while out with the main female. Switchin up dinner locationz so waitressez don't tip off the femalez, trust me junk waz stressful).
Then after that there waz the cheaterz cry for repentance "I could change" featuring snoop dog, letting the female understand that i'll give up everything, just to keep u in my world. I could be here all night talking about hiz first album. It waz an R&B album that stayed at the top of the chartz for a while. It even won a few Grammy'z. It takez a lot of artistz yearz befor they start winning Awardz period. But to come out the gate az a winner off ur first try iz remarkable. Winning formula, touching emotionz. something thatz hard for artistz now a dayz to do.

FOR THIZ MOVIE TO BE ABOUT THE HARSH REALITIEZ OF THE 1970'Z PIMP ERA, IT ALSO DELT WITH A LOT OF THE ISSUEZ URBAN SOCIETY FACEZ TODAY. I MEAN WHEN U LOOK AT CONFLICT IN THE STREETZ, ITZ A BATTLE THAT ALWAYZ RIZEZ UNTIL DEATH OCCURZ. AND EVEN THEN IT REALLY NEVER ENDZ. THEN U FIND YOURSELF AT A TURNING POINT WHERE U'VE GONE TOO FAR!!!! BUT BY THEN ITZ HARD TO BACK OUT!!! ALL I KNOW IZ GOLDIE REALLY DID PRETTY TONEY WRONG IN THIZ JOINT!!! LOL!

Yeah ya'll for the love of the FuZz iz back to high light another individual with style. When we look at Black male comedianz it seemz therez a standard dresscode that one must follow when getting dressed. The appearance iz no laughing matter to say the least. I mean there are many well noted dresserz on the comedy circut such az Steve harvey and J Anthony Brown. But I want to talk about one who iz an underdog amongst the style rankz, but iz deffinetly able to hold hiz own. Non other than Cedric the entertainer. Unlike many of hiz counter partz, when Cedric getz dressed it seemz the most comfortable out of everybody. And through whatever he wearz, he'z able to convey a relaxed feel with hiz style. I nean letz be real. Would u ever see steve Harvey wear Sneakerz and a suit??? NEVERRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol!!!! But Ced would! And he doez it with such class and confidence. Letting the world know that yez bigger gentleman can get dressed az well. Over all I love the eefort that black comedianz put into their warbrobe. Which datez back to the 70'z with Richard Pryor in a red suit to the 80'z Eddie Murphy doing stand up in black leather suit. And the idea iz kept alive.
HEY WHATZ FuZzN WORLD? Been a long time since i've actually spoken to u guyz!!!! lotz of random thoughtz goin through my head!!! Ending my week long vacation from work! dang time goez so fast! Been hittin the moviez every other night thiz week. Date night might be the funniest movie of the year. Haterz been on my trail fr a while, but trust, I keep my head above the cloudz!!! I just don't see em!!!! Dang ya'll I miss my pookie gurl veronica, that gurl iz my heart!!! Can't beleave we lost Guru, a true hip-hop legend. I find myself now a dayz really not saying much of anything to people. I learned from my dad that when ur a man that haz very little to say it keepz otherz guessing. Further more it makez them neverouz! Just remember, every eye thatz clozed ain't sleep. Been bumpin Ryan Leslie'z first album like crazy. That album iz an r&b classic. Hiz second one??? well, i'll just say he should have taken hiz time with it. Dude'z still talented. been on my Fedora HAT kick kind a strong recently, THE NAME IZ FEDORA FRESH NOW!!! LOL! I think i'm gonna make my triumphant return back to rappin! At my height in 09 when I waz killin open mic nightz and spittin on people'z trackz I lost motivation to rap! But when u love something so much itz hard to leave it. so i'm slowly but surely gettin back on the horse. don't be surprized if u see me back to spittin at open mic nightz again. Therez nothin like spittin in front of a crowed of douterz. Life can be funny at timez. Soon az u feel like ur gaining ground, u get the rug pulled out from under u. But i've learned to just stay at my own pace and do whatz best for me. I'm not in control of my future, God iz and he hazn't failed me yet. My bad for the ramblin ya'll. Had a lot of thoughtz on my brain. Gettin ready to sign out guyz, keep ya headz up and god bless.

Now just about every men'z shoe store I go to they alwayz have a denim dress shoe on hand ready for thoze under 30 year old club go--erz or some spike haired italian guido. O.k. o.k. I do own a couple of denim dress shoez, however I kind of got turned off by them when I saw a whole row of them in a certain store. I'm never rude when I go into theze storez but I just say to myself where iz the innovation???!!! a whole row of navy blue denim dress shoez meanz that 10 different companiez have the same idea(they were all different brandz, I checked). Never the less there some that do the denim dress shoe justice. AND WITH THAT BEING SAID, THIZ GIORGIO BRUTIN SHOE MEETZ MY APPROVAL. What makez thiz shoe iz the light faded wash and the strap, which givez the shoe a great touch. Az a whole I guess Dragonz and denim are still in style for men'z shoez. can't wait to see what the future holdz! I'll be waiting!!

BACK IN 2003-04 I HAD THE BIGGEST CRUSH ON FEFE DOBSON!!!! I MEAN LETZ BE REAL, SHE HAZ THE FACE OF AN ANGEL, BUT AZ QUIET AZ ITZ KEPT SHE'Z ALWAYZ MAINTAINED THE SEXY PUNK ROCKISH EDGE. BEFOR THE RHIANNA'Z CHOPPING OFF THEIR HAIR AND GOING SUPPER SHORT AND DRESSING REBELIOUZ, FEFE DOBSON WAZ DOING THIZ TYPE OF LOOK. HER ROCK AND ROLL ROOTZ CAME ACROSS IN HER MUZIK AZ WELL. THATZ WHY, HER VIDEOZ GOT A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF AIR PLAY ON MTV. A LOT OF PEOPLE COULDN'T GET WITH THE POP ROCK MIX OF HARD GUITAR PLAY WITH HER EDGINESS. I MEAN HERE U HAVE THIZ GIRL WITH PRETTY FACE TRYIN TO ROCK OUT!!! BUT SIX YEARZ LATER EVERYBODY ROCKZ OUT NOW. LOL! WHAT A CULTURE.
Yesterday I went to my favorite hat store, Delmonico haters and came across thiz linen apple jack hat. Az u can tell I've become fond of apple jack hatz. i waz just saying the other day i'll have to put away my winter joint. but thiz bad boy iz pure linen. So during theze warmer monthz I can still maintain my cool. Man i love going to Delmonico'z, my grandmother uzed to bring me in there when i waz little to take me hat shopping. Matter of fact she uzed to bring my grandfather in there to pick out hatz. Makez me mad that half of my uncle took half of my grandfatherz hat collection when he passed away! He only wearz em to funeralz!!! sucka!!! He better be lucky I love him. LOL!
Being a young black man in america, I look at the rest of the black community like they're mentally insane when the issue of dating arisez. To me my over all philosophy iz u either love the person or u don't. No huge secret, no big big deals!! but what really boils my blood iz how the genuine feeling of love haz been taken out of the equation. It haz been replaced with straight a non sense thought pattern by both black men and women. I mean our relationship stupidity iz acted out in dozenz of T.V. showz, moviez, and even better yet on night line. I feel everybodiez prioritiez are in the wrong placez. Black women are under the notion that befor anything goez down a man must put a ring on their finger!!! but befor we even get to that point, the brotha haz to fit a check list of qualitiez that are az long az Dixwell Avenue(new haven residence know what i'm talking about). The man must have a job, he must have good credit, he must want kidz, he must be good in bed, can't live at home with hiz mama. The list goez on and on!!! Black Men are without their faultz az well. Many are stuck in the glory of yester year, still trying to hold on to their player wayz. Never wanting to grow up completly. People who take pride in having baby motherz instead of having one person who lovez u through thick and thin. The problem with both Black men and Black women iz that concept of relationship iz about self. I'm not getting any younger, I like my freedom, a whole bunch of I'z. It'z never about we or us. There iz never a comprimize. Relationshipz should be about meeting each other half way. But instead of having long term relationshipz, we're interested in having power strugglez that seperate the genderz instead of uniting us az one. People don't genuinly care about one another anymore. Most people are looking for financial security instead of love. Black Women don't want a broke man, and most men are guarding their walletz from that threat. It doezn't take a group discussion to see where we are going wrong!!!! what it takez iz laying aside all of the garbage that iz uzed to hold up progress. We can't blame thiz issue on down low brotha'z or interacial dating, blame it on stupidity!!!! Thiz iz where we need the older generation to help sit down and really guide thiz younger generation into the right direction. But the sad part iz, the majority of older generation are facing the same issuez az well. So it becomez a situation of the blind leading the blind. It scarez me that generationz of one race have failed in something that iz so simple. I'm just glad I found a person who sharez the same viewz az I do in a relationship. becauze befor I got into my current relationship, dating waz like walking on a bed of nailz. I thought all black women were crazy. But I changed my view point. I stopped looking at it az a black thing, and started looking the individual. It wazn't about a gender stereotype anymore. It wazn't about all about how big her but haz to be, or am I going to hit it! I realized it waz about finding a person that I could trust with my life. A person that haz my best interest at heart. And in return I promise to do the same. Thank God for finding true love. Nature iz cruel but we don't have to be.

Saturday my dad and I decided to go to the New Haven theater to take in the critically aclaimed play No Child. The play waz a one woman non stop action packed thought provoking performance, meant to spread humor but most of all inform the massez, through the stereotypez of inner city public schoolz. A drama teacher who took on the task of teaching acting at one of the worst inn city high schoolz in the district(most of all the worst class in the school). For many of the play attendantz (majority white suberbial typez and blackz who look down their nozez at the hood) thiz reality iz only something they'll only seen dramatized on stage or on screen. But for my dad and I it waz a reinactment of what our job waz for 9 yearz. We've worked with disadvantage kidz and most of all we live amongst them. So we know they're struggle. We know what they go through. They just attend the play, they never lived it!!! anyway, it waz seriouzly thought provoking. Specially being an educator in the inner city. It touched a 1 million subjectz, from neigborhood survival, standardized testing, and ect. It waz the first time I've heard anybody really talk about the no child left behind act and standardized testing in a negative way. Most people feel that test scorez are what makez a child. but really they just treat them az numberz and statisticz, when half the time we're lying to them telling them they're suppozed to be individualz!!!! what a contridiction.!!!! anyway, handz down the best play I ever saw!
