Since the VMA'z are coming up thiz Sunday, I thought I would talk about one of my favorite momentz. Man thiz waz a definitive moment on so many level'z for Justin Timberlake career when he made hiz solo debut at the MTV VMA'z in 2002. For one many criticz were skeptikal of Justin becauze it waz hiz first performance outside of being an Nsync member. But wjen he performed like I love you with the clipse he stole the show of the award night. But really spoke to me waz hiz outfit. With thiz single outfit, it set the stage for what the hipster look iz now. At the time the look waz so Alien to pop culture becauze there waz no way to really categorize it. Black and red fedora, black dress shirt, red t, black leather pantz, pocket, and pony sneakerz. The Leather pantz were a symbol of rough luxury. People couldn't understand it becauze it waz a lot going on with hiz look. Mixed with cutting edge dance movz, many commented that he waz trying to channel Micheal Jackson. But by the time the time hiz first video for hiz song came out, he became a success. He smart for getting the Clipse to round out the song with a pinch of hood edge!!!! Man they didn't beleave Justin Couldn't do it without Nsync, but he waz able to prove all theze jornalistz and suckaz wrong!!!!!
