Back in 2003 in the thick of throw back jersey fever everybody dressed like they played ball with Magic Johnson. Red carpetz were clutterd with rapperz with saging pantz and athletic gear alike. Until the 45th grammy'z when Nelly and hiz St. Lunitics crew came dressed to the ninez in suitz. They all had their particular flair(even slow down with the mask lol!), but the number one show stopper of the evening waz def nelly in hiz tan three peiece suit that had a plaid vest with matching plaid tie. At the time everybody loved thiz look on Nelly becauze he looked more refined and genleman like. You have to figure thiz waz befor a grown and sexy. Thiz waz befor rapper'z cared about doing savil row. So thiz suit, vest, and tie combination waz monumental. And personaly in my opinion it still iz!!!! If somebody wore thiz particular outfit on the red carpet now, I know there would be a lot of snikerz and laughter. I can hear it now, "itz too southern baptist preacher", "wherez the next player'z ball going to be held?" But over all Nelly def looked dashing in thiz number. and to be honest Nelly iz another Rapper that lookz hiz best when he'z dressed up in a suit. The du-rag and backwardz Jersey didn't really do him justice!!!!
